A delightful book - very important for maintaining perspective and focus in a crazy world
We live in an age of distracted minds and shallow thoughts, amply aided by the technologies we use. Even worse, our children are in danger of staying permanently boxed in a place where screens rule, attention is superficial, and the mind is for following the finger on the screen rather than for thinking. This book is a great tool to help kids and their parents (re) discover the power of thinking. Great job!
Simplicity is the heart of communication, in this world of distractions. UNBOX creates a nice path to the nerve centre in your brain and puts in complex concepts by its beguiling simplicity.

We look at the world with a frame of reference - even if we are not aware of that. How do we realise what is the frame of reference? How do we unravel a world, as it is? I have started the exercises in the book and I can already see the difference. Unbox!
A beautifully illustrated book, in the genre of Exupery's The Little Prince, written with clarity and humour, on how we become victims of our own thoughts. It gives simple meditation techniques and exercises to come out of the constricting mindset that most of us stay victims of all our lives. Just like The Little Prince, it is a book written for kids and meant for adults. First time author Prithvi Raj Banerjee shows impressive clarity of thought, hold over yog techniques and flair for putting complex things in enjoyable prose.
Much needed book for the modern age distracted kids - and their parents. The big-picture view, the exercises, and the humorous illustrations made the concepts simple enough for my thirteen-year-old and eleven-year-old to understand! The associated exercises should be mandatory for everyone.

Our whole family has started using the terminology outlined in the book. We have gamified the exercises and my children have become ardent followers of the concepts. They have even started correcting the adults when they see “boxed” thinking and behavior.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading these mindfulness concepts written with such simplicity and directness.
Not only does all this make it easy to read, but to implement as well.

I particularly enjoyed the illustrations and anecdotes. And the exercises given are very interesting ad refreshing.
The manner of writing is clear and precise yet layered with a lightness and humour that makes it a very informative yet enjoyable read.

This book puts across a very unique and interesting application of mindfulness, simplifying seemingly complex concepts.
It was delightful reading a book that explains deep philosophical subjects in such a simple manner. Not only does the writer use allegorical illustrations to explain his take on the concept of “Thoughts” and how to deal with them in pursuit of the state of expanded attention, but he does so with suggested activities one can do to really come to grips with the concept.

You can also sense an attempt at making one’s journey more observable and thus measurable. Personally I haven’t come across any other book that tries to demystify such amorphous concepts in a structured manner.

I finished the book in one go, am enjoying repeating the exercises suggested in the book, and I can definitely feel that I’m beginning to enjoy mindfulness practices far more than anytime earlier.
In a world inundated with information coming at us from all directions, it is easy to feel confused, overwhelmed and distracted. All kinds of thoughts capture our wakeful attention every minute, destroying our peace, productivity and creativity. In this delightfully written book, Prithvi takes us on a journey to finding a way out of being boxed within a prison of destructive thoughts. With charming illustrations, stories and simple exercises, he shows freedom is not just possible for each one of us, but is actually our birthright! When the cloud lifts and clarity dawns, the eyes can truly see without distortion what has always been here, staring us right in the face! This ability to see reality as it is, is the mother of all creativity, intuition, insight and understanding.
